Local communities and stakeholders are very important to the success of Prairie State Energy Campus (PSEC). That’s why we strive to be a good neighbor to the local communities surrounding PSEC. As such, PSEC enjoys tremendous community support based on the project’s ability to generate low-cost electricity, create economic opportunities, and protect the environment.
PSEC cooperates with local communities in:

• Building roads and other infrastructure
• Securing various economic and tax incentives
• Supporting charitable initiatives.

Many of our employees reside in local communities surrounding the PSEC.  Working with local contractors and vendors to develop the site also is a priority and part of PSEC’s good neighbor policy.
